Liz Casasola

LIZ CASASOLA is actor and and theater producer (DCT's Managing and Co-Producing Director) based in New York City. A graduate of American Conservatory Theater (San Francisco) and the American Musical & Dramatic Academy (New York City), she has appeared in MISS SAIGON, Jessica Hagedorn's DOGEATERS at The Public Theatre (directed by Michael Greif), Pulitzer Prize Winner John Marans's musical, SEARCHING FOR Y, SHOUT! and SWEET VALLEY HIGH: THE MUSICAL. She appeared in Jorshinelle Taleon-Sonza's HOW TO COOK ADOBO as part of DCT's GREEN ROOM SERIES 2005 as well as in DCT's presentation of Kristine Reyes's QUEEN FOR A DAY and Marissa Marquez's THE GOOD GIRL. On television, she has appeared in SEX AND THE CITY, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE and co-hosted a pilot for Rollingstone.com. Liz is the voice behind MCI Worldcom's radio campaign (Filipino).

She co-produced DCT's critically acclaimed benefit at Carnegie Hall featuring Tony Award winner Lea Salonga and guest artists Liz Callaway, Andrea McArdle and Paolo Montalban in November 2005 (directed by Richard Jay-Alexander and conducted by award-winning Broadway musical director Kevin Stites), which Playbill's Andrew Gans declared "a triumph!" It was named in the TOP 10 BEST OF 2005.

Liz received her BA in Mass Communications from the University of California, Berkeley.
